He graduated from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics and Electronics, and postgraduate studies in real estate appraisal with apprenticeship under the supervision of appraisers of the Małopolska Association of Property Appraisers in Kraków.

He gained many years' experience in managerial positions in a production company and an oil sector contractor, and as a director in a production and renovation company in the energy sector.

He completed training in the management of a commercial law company.

In the years 1998-2002 he was a member of the Krosno Municipal Board and fulfilled the mandate of a councillor of the Krosno Municipal Council in the 1998-2002 term.
